South Yorkshire partnership is finalist for national award

Sewell Advisory’s partnership with South Yorkshire ICB has been shortlisted for an award which recognises strong relationships with the NHS.

The partners have been nominated for the HSJ Partnership Awards, which recognise outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS. Sewell Advisory and NHS South Yorkshire ICB are shortlisted for the Healthcare Infrastructure Project of the Year category for work on the South Yorkshire Primary Care Capital Programme.

The £54m South Yorkshire Primary Care Capital Programme is a unique and highly ambitious collaboration delivering transformational change in GP estate across the region. Comprising eleven projects ranging from refurbishment through to large new-build health centres, the programme represents delivery at a scale and complexity not previously seen in primary care.

The HSJ Partnership Awards have become the most recognised and respected mark of the strongest relationships between suppliers and the NHS. The 2026 awards judging panel was made up of a diverse range of highly influential and respected figures within the healthcare community.

Emma Bolton, Chief Executive of Sewell Advisory, said: “It’s an honour to be nominated for this award alongside some excellent projects, and I’m delighted our team’s hard work on the South Yorkshire Primary Care Capital Programme has been recognised. It’s vital that the NHS have the best primary care facilities to take Neighbourhood Health forward.  We’re really proud of the role we’ve played, and continue to play, in delivering primary care estate transformation across South Yorkshire.  The benefit to both patients and staff will be incredible.”

Award winners will be announced in March, at an event celebrating excellence in healthcare, promoting best practice, and recognising the people and projects improving outcomes for patients nationwide.
